Mobile Solutions System Engineer

As a System Engineer in the area of Mobile Solutions your job is to be part of the whole Lifecycle (Plan, Build and Run) of all of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Mobile Device Management systems. This is happening by investigating and implementing the latest Security Framework and Guidelines from Apple, Google and Microsoft whilst focusing on enhancing the working experience from an iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Android device; following proper incident, change and problem management processes; creating appropriate documentation; and providing consultancy to other IT and business functions. In addition, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Mobile Device Management services managed by our team such as Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager, Samsung KNOX and Google Zero Touch.

Tasks & Responsibilities

You are designing and operating Mobile Device Management solutions globally
You participate in global projects and work closely with other IT members from other Boehringer sites globally
You understand internal processes and automate them to enhance mobile data analysis and reporting capabilities by using PowerBI tools and scripting skills.
As subject matter expert you consult other teams and customers on existing applications/systems and underlying architecture to automate mobile processes
Act as system lead or deputy system lead for nominated Mobile systems
As part of the Mobile Solutions team, you have to participate in the global support structure and should be willing to support local initiatives

Requirements

Degree in IT, Engineering or Computer Science or other comparable experience
Understanding and knowledge in Mobile Device Management systems and willingness to get an expert in these areas: o Microsoft Intune o PowerBI, Power Automate and Python/PowerShell scripting skills o Apple device configurations (iPhone, iPad, Macbook...) o Mobile Apps Management.
Knowledge of DevOps processes and methodologies would be preferred
Ability to travel internationally
English working proficiency and communication skills (verbal and written)
