What does the job look like?

The Mobile QA Engineer will have the opportunity to:

Identify test patterns and develop the testing plan.

Write and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable test cases.

Conduct peer reviews of test plans to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

Execute test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools.

Regularly update and maintain test documentation to keep it up to date with changes in the application.

Work closely with developers, manual and automation testers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Identify risks related to testing and implement mitigation strategies to ensure test reliability.

Keep abreast of current testing methodologies while working autonomously to update tools, skills, and techniques.

What will you need to be able to do the job?

Minimum 2 years of previous work experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Hands on experience testing native mobile applications for both Android and iOS.

Familiar with adb, Android Studio, Xcode.

Knowledge of Software QA Methodologies.

Experience in defining acceptance criteria.

Excellent command of English language.

Computer Science or other relevant College or University Degree.

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Knowledge of test management software (i.e. TestRail, Zephyr) and tracking tools like JIRA/Confluence.

Excellent team play skills and positive can-do attitude.

Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

Good analytical and planning skills.

An ability to work with short deadlines and under pressure.

It will be considered as a plus if you have:

Experience with Test Automation Software (Cucumber, Selenium).

Mobile Automation using Appium or similar tools.

Experience with setting up device farms for mobile testing.

Previous experience within FX Industry on a similar IT field or an ISTQB certificate.
