Roles and responsibilities

• Provide technical and organisational leadership across mobile platforms and products.

• Define and implement mobile engineering standards for architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment.

• Mentor and grow the team, creating a scalable leadership pipeline.

• Own the long-term technical vision for mobile, including platform evolution and simplification.

• Collaborate with PMs, backend teams, and QA to streamline cross-functional planning and delivery.

• Lead the transition from contractor-led to self-sufficient, in-house engineering ownership.

• Oversee and improve PR review processes, sprint cadence, and release reliability.

• Drive alignment on mobile-friendly API design with backend and platform teams.

• Create a culture of psychological safety, feedback, and continuous improvement.
