Summary:

We are seeking an Android Developer to work in the digital/ecommerce group for a leading Fortune 500 organization. The selected individual will be responsible for both new design and enhancement specific to android applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Application Redesign - a concentrated effort to optimize user interface and embrace Google Design Standards

• Execute Service Integration to support new functionality and maintain functionality with current REST services
• Develop and tested new features using Android SDK; leveraging industry best practices
• Transition existing apps to utilize native capabilities for a better customer experience
• Development will be performed in an Agile environment

• 2+ years of experience developing Android applications for major organizations, or a highly successful independent application.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to provide detailed information on the applications that they have developed (should be apps that are in the Google store, etc.)
• Non-local candidates will be considered but must work Monday-Friday on-site in Mooresville, NC for the duration of the role.
