We are partnering with a UAE Federal Government Entity to help fill the following vacancy: Mobile Developer (iOS)
This is a full-time position that will be directly employed by our client, not Whiteshield. Our role is solely to assist in the recruitment process—further details will be provided upon the successful shortlisting of applicants.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Mobile Developer (iOS) to build high-quality, user-centric mobile applications that support complex, real-world use cases. You will be working within a modern React Native environment, leveraging Expo and TypeScript to deliver scalable, performant, and maintainable mobile solutions.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have: -
4+ years React Native with Expo
TypeScript (strict mode)
React Query (TanStack) for server state management
REST API integration, token-based auth (OAuth2/OIDC)
RTL/Arabic localization and bilingual support
Camera, GPS, maps, and document scanning integration
Dynamic form rendering from JSON schemas
Good to have:
Offline-first patterns and real-time sync
Testing strategy (Jest, Detox or similar E2E)
Mobile CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Fastlane)
Biometric auth, secure storage
NativeWind / Tailwind CSS for React Native
