Miscellaneous Metals Foreman
Pay: $32–$38/hour (Direct Hire)
Location: Candidates must be located near Georgetown, DE; Sterling, VA; Baltimore, MD; or Washington, DC

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Miscellaneous Metals Foreman to lead a field crew in the installation of stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metals. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and benefits, including a company vehicle and fuel card.
The Foreman will oversee daily job-site operations, ensure work quality and safety compliance, and serve as the on-site representative for all project-related installation activities.
Responsibilities::
• Lead and supervise a field crew responsible for installing stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metals.
• Coordinate daily activities with the General Contractor.
• Read and interpret blueprints and ensure proper layout and installation.
• Organize crews, materials, and tools to ensure efficient workflow.
• Verify crew certifications and enforce all site safety regulations.
• Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Serve as the on-site safety representative, ensuring compliance with PPE and site-specific safety plans.
• Review and conduct Tool-Box Shop Talks and uphold general safety standards.
Qualifications::
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the miscellaneous metals field (preferred).
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret safety documentation.
• Solid math skills, including ability to work with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
• Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
• Current welder certifications or ability to pass a weld test.
