Location: Tillsonburg, ON
Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an Apprentice Industrial Mechanic/Millwright in our Tillsonburg, Ontario stamping Facility. The Apprentice Industrial Mechanic/Millwright is responsible for supporting production and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior in a stamping environment experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Stamping equipment i.e. feed line systems experience is an asset
Ability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
Ability to travel between local facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolled in the Industrial Mechanic/ Millwright program
3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
The pay range for this role is $30.65/hour to $40.87/hour.
