Our Milling department is looking to add a machinist in the vertical and secondary milling area. We are looking for someone with previous experience in machine particularly CNC Milling on mills. Below are some expectations and responsibilities in this position:
Responsibilities:
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Inspecting parts throughout shift using various technics and tools such as calipers, thread gages, height gages, and other various gages.
Machining parts on vertical mills, primarily, and performing secondary operations based upon requirements and specifications to each job.
Maintain proper fluid levels on the machines you are operate on.
Maintain a safe, clean environment.
Qualifications:
A mid to high level of mechanical aptitude.
Open to continuous improvement and implementation of improvements.
Able to work well with others on in your department as well as across the organization as needed.

Previous experience in setting up CNC Mills is preferred but not required. An openness to learn setting up vertical mills is expected.
Previous experience with programming is preferred but not required.
