Tasks::
• Operate and maintain application/web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere) and messaging platforms (IBM MQ) in line with SLA requirements

• Deploy configuration changes, manage runtime parameters, and maintain version-controlled artifacts

• Handle TLS/certificate lifecycle management (installation, renewal, validation, bindings, cipher configuration)

• Monitor system health (JVM, GC, thread pools, MQ queues, logs) and respond to alerts and incidents

• Apply patches, fix packs, and updates during controlled change windows with proper validation and rollback

• Collaborate with network and security teams on load balancing, WAF, DNS, and routing configurations

• Support deployments, go-lives, and release activities (including blue/green scenarios)

• Maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs, knowledge base) and ensure accurate CMDB data

• Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and DR testing activities

Requirements::
• Hands-on experience with IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, IBM MQ or similar middleware platforms

• Strong understanding of TLS/certificates (keystore/truststore, cipher suites, HSTS)

• Knowledge of reverse proxies, URL routing, load balancers, and WAF integrations

• Ability to analyse logs and troubleshoot middleware-related issues

• Basic understanding of performance tuning (JVM, connection pools, MQ flows)

• Familiarity with monitoring, SIEM, and telemetry tools

• Experience with deployment processes, change management, and configuration versioning

• Understanding of security principles, service accounts, and system hardening

• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) are a plus
