Job Location: Mumbai 

Experience: 4-7Years.

Tech Process Payment Services Limited is a dynamic Mumbai-based payment solutions,

software & services company established in year 2000. Our clients are organizations from

diversified sectors.

The Middleware Architect & Team Leader will report to the Development Manager/Project

Manager and will be accountable for developing and maintaining key integration and

workflow service modules of TPSL software. He or she is also charged with leading a group

of experienced software developers.

The Middleware Architect & Team Leader position will provide technical leadership,

oversight, standardization and validation of middleware application architecture. Architect will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analyst and other IT groups; providing

technical leadership for integration efforts involving geographically or otherwise distributed

Enterprise Applications and Integration platform.

The Middleware Architect & Team Leader will work on solutions both internally with the

product and solutions team and externally with the clients IT teams as required. The

candidate must have strong communication skills, IT analysis, technical skills, and work

experience in developing client solutions using application and integration middleware and

associated technologies.

Job Description

• Design and deployments of application components that are standards based, high

performance, highly available, comply with operational standards and procedures.

• Provide leadership and demonstrate ownership of the integration platform for consistent

usage across projects.

• Understand the business and customer needs to introduce technical solutions that grow

the bottom line.

• Lead the team for integration/performance testing based on integration and test plan,

support UAT and make sure that the Application is defect free.

• Establish Middleware governance based on best practices and ensure proper alignment

business and major initiatives.

• Understand and contribute to Enterprise IT strategies; adhere to compliance regulations

and development guidelines.

• Responsible for the architectural review and approval of application designs and

technology selection for projects.

• Work closely with Business Analysts and the Product Owner to understand the system’s

functional and non-functional requirements

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Development Manager to define the product

vision

• Work closely with Technical Analysts and the Development Team to ensure software

architectural integrity

• Implement code review and unit test processes

• Design, develop and modify modules based on functional and non-functional requirements

• Participate in release and sprint planning

• Conduct daily scrum meetings

• Assist developers with troubleshooting complex issues

• Mentor and guide the developers

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Application Integration architecture, including Service

Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Messaging Systems.

• Working knowledge of various integration design patterns.

• Working knowledge of UML and UML design tools (Enterprise Architect)

• Hands-on development expertise in MQ, Java, JMS, JDBC, etc.

• Experience building and implementing Enterprise Solutions involving:

• Application servers - JBOSS, Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic in cluster

environments

• Messaging Systems - MQ/MQSeries, TIBCO RV/EMS, JMS, etc

• Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) - WebSphere ESB, Oracle ESB, TIBCO EMS, etc

• SQL and Database Technology - Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server Database

• Windows, Linux & Unix OS - preferrably AIX in Unix and RHEL for Linux

• Knowledge and experience of JUnit and/or testing methodology.

• Strong experience in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g. XML, SOAP,

WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST, etc.).

• Maven Build Management

• Distributed version control systems (CVS, VSS, Mercurial, Git )

• Expertise in Spring Batch, Spring Integration is a plus.

• Expertise in WebSphere Business Integration (WMB/WBIFN, WMQ) (SOA Suite) is

required

• jBPM is a plus.
