Middle/Senior Python Developer (ConnectWise)

CUSTOMER

Our customer is ConnectWise, a US-based company specializing in software solutions for IT service providers. ConnectWise offers a suite of products for remote monitoring, business automation, cybersecurity, and cloud services. With a strong global presence, they are recognized for enabling Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver exceptional IT services efficiently.

PROJECT

You will be part of a dynamic international team building a modern, cloud-powered platform that serves thousands of partners worldwide. The solution is a React-based web application backed by scalable AWS services, enabling secure user management, authentication, public APIs, billing operations, and seamless integration with other enterprise systems, including Salesforce.

The roadmap includes several high-impact initiatives:

• Unified Access & SSO: Delivering a frictionless partner experience through streamlined provisioning, authentication, and permissions.
• Salesforce Transformation: Migrating to a consolidated Salesforce environment to boost autonomy and reduce dependencies.
• Next-Gen UI: Exploring migration to a cutting-edge MUI-based design system for a unified, modern interface.

You’ll be working alongside experienced Python and Full Stack engineers in a collaborative, agile environment, contributing to solutions that directly influence business efficiency and partner satisfaction.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full stack
• Build backend services and APIs using Python or Node.js, integrating with SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS services
• Implement AWS Lambda functions for serverless workflows
• Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards
• Document APIs using OpenAPI (Swagger) for consistency and clear communication
• Develop unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

• 3+ years of experience in Python web development with backend frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI) or Node.js (Express, NestJS)
• Proven experience deploying applications on public cloud platforms
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices design patterns
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of web application security best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, PyTest, Mocha)
• Proficiency in Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Experience with AWS services beyond Lambda (e.g., S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway)
• Knowledge of MUI or other modern UI frameworks
• Prior work on large-scale integration projects
• Experience with Salesforce integration
