About the role:

As a Mid-Weight Product Designer at HeliosX, you will play a key role in designing intuitive, accessible, and effective digital healthcare experiences for customers across multiple markets.

This role is focused on delivering high-quality product design across features and medium-scope initiatives. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other cross-functional partners to design and ship solutions that are user-centred, commercially effective, and technically feasible.

You will own design work from discovery through to delivery, contribute to research and experimentation, and help evolve the HeliosX design system. As an established member of the team, you will deliver reliable, high-quality work, collaborate effectively across functions, and support the growth of our design culture.

What you'll be doing:

• Own the end-to-end design process for features and medium-scope product initiatives.

• Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into clear, effective design solutions.

• Produce high-quality UX, UI and prototypes that meet accessibility and usability standards.

• Work within and contribute to the HeliosX Design System to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to shape solutions and ensure feasibility.

• Contribute to discovery work, usability testing, and research synthesis.

• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and iterate on existing features.

• Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations.

• Participate in planning, reviews, and product rituals.

• Contribute to design critiques, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the team.

• Support the onboarding of more junior designers where needed.

Who you are:

• 3 - 5 years of experience designing digital products in a product-led or cross-functional environment.

• Comfortable owning features or medium-scope product areas end-to-end.

• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility.

• Confident in creating wireframes, user flows, and prototypes using tools like Figma and other AI tools.

• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers.

• Able to define clear problem statements using research, data, and stakeholder input.

• Detail-oriented, organised, and delivery-focused.

• A clear communicator who can explain design decisions to different audiences.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthtech, fintech, e-commerce, or other regulated or high-scale environments.

• Experience working across multiple markets or localised products.
