Job Summary

The Mid Technical Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through hands-on technical testing. This role works closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to validate functionality, APIs, integrations, and automated test coverage across the software development lifecycle. The position requires strong technical testing skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying defects and improving QA processes to support stable, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform hands-on testing of web, mobile, API, and microservices applications.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of automated test suites, including integration with the DevOps pipeline.
• Take ownership of QA activities within assigned agile teams, acting as the main quality gatekeeper for deliverables.
• Ensure quality standards are applied across all test phases, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, scrum masters, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure products meet requirements.
• Define testable user stories, prepare test scenarios and cases, execute and automate tests, and accurately report results and progress.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, presenting testing progress and challenges.
• Implement effective defect management and incident reporting practices.
• Continuously look for ways to improve QA processes, test coverage, and deliverables.
• Stay updated on new digital product and technology trends and incorporate learnings into QA practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding progress, issues, and risks.
• Align with company culture, participate in team activities, and contribute positively to team collaboration.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Software Testing, with hands-on exposure to both manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience testing web, API, and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Familiarity with designing or contributing to automation frameworks and improving automation coverage.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release readiness.
• Experience working with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing practices.
• Working knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST, JSON).
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate testing efforts across teams.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement and quality standards.
