Mid-Senior Mining Professionals

Hire Resolve is assisting mining organisations in hiring experienced mining professionals across Singapore. This is a multi-role opportunity covering several functions within the sector, including regional operations support, technical services, mineral processing, maintenance and reliability, projects, and health, safety and environment (HSE/WSH) leadership. These roles are designed for mid- to senior-level professionals and support progression toward superintendent, manager, and regional/site leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support safe, efficient delivery of mining and processing operations across assigned functions and sites (often regional)
• Strengthen compliance with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and organisational safety systems, including risk assessments and incident prevention
• Drive operational performance through planning, KPI management, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical input to mine planning, production optimisation, drill and blast performance, geotechnical/ground control, and ventilation strategies (as applicable)
• Improve processing and plant performance (throughput, recovery, quality), including troubleshooting and optimisation where relevant
• Oversee maintenance and reliability strategies for mobile and fixed plant equipment, including shutdown planning and asset performance improvement
• Manage contractors and service providers to ensure safe execution, quality delivery, and adherence to schedule and budget
• Support projects and operational readiness activities, including commissioning support, change management, and stakeholder coordination
• Build capability through coaching, competency development, and structured performance management
• Produce clear reports and dashboards for operational leadership, audits, and governance requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, HSE, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience for certain operations/maintenance leadership roles)
• Typically 5–12+ years of progressive experience in mining, minerals processing, quarrying/aggregates, or heavy industrial environments
• Working knowledge of Singapore WSH expectations and risk management practices (e.g., risk assessments, permit-to-work principles, incident investigation) under the WSH framework managed by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
• Experience in one or more of the following: operations leadership, technical services, planning/scheduling, processing optimisation, maintenance/reliability, projects, or HSE/WSH management systems
• Familiarity with common tools and systems such as CMMS/EAM (e.g., SAP, Maximo), planning/scheduling tools, condition monitoring, and Microsoft Office (Excel; Power BI advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management, with a practical, delivery-focused approach
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required (regional travel may apply depending on assignment)
