We are seeking a mid-level attorney to join the patent prosecution practice of a thriving Intellectual Property Practice Group. The law firm is an Am Law 100 firm with offices located throughout the U.S., Europe, and China. The IP practice includes all areas of intellectual property law for a national and international client base. Successful candidates will have 6+ years patent drafting and prosecution experience for U.S. and foreign clients. A PhD in in Chemistry or related field is required; small molecule patent prosecution experience is preferred.
Candidate must be a member of the patent bar. This is a unique position which will further enhance the expertise in chemical patent work while providing an opportunity to do sophisticated work with excellent clients. Experience in training and mentoring junior associates and building client service teams a plus. Candidates must also have excellent academic credentials and have strong written and oral communications skills. Requirement:
• 6+ years experience in U.S and Foriegn patent prosecution
• A PhD in in Chemistry or related field is required
