Our client, a leader in financial services is looking for a talented Mid - Senior Copywriter to join their team on a 6‑month contract. This role is ideal for a versatile Writer who enjoys crafting clear, engaging, and effective content across multiple channels. You’ll be focused on day‑to‑day, always‑on content rather than big conceptual campaign work. Think blogs, emails, website copy, social media, and marketing communications that inform, engage, and convert. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, including Marketing and Editorial teams, to ensure all copy is aligned to brand tone, business objectives, and customer needs.

What you will do: 

Write high‑quality, engaging copy across multiple formats, including:

• Blogs and long‑form articles
• Website and landing page copy
• Email campaigns and CRM communications
• Social media posts and captions
• ​​​​​​​Marketing and customer communications
• Adapt tone and messaging to suit different audiences and platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Editorial, and Design teams to support campaigns and business initiatives.
• Conduct research to ensure content is accurate, informative, and relevant.
• Edit and proofread copy to a high standard, ensuring alignment with brand and editorial guidelines.
• Apply SEO best practices to improve content performance, visibility, and engagement.
• Manage multiple briefs and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

• 5+ years’ professional copywriting or content writing experience.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital channels (blogs, email, web, social).
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of SEO and content optimisation best practices.
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand new topics and industries.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is advantageous but not essential.
