YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You design, build, and maintain reliable and scalable backend services in Go to support key business products
• You collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional team members to deliver impactful, customer-facing solutions
• You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a strong focus on quality and business value
• You take end-to-end ownership of your solutions, deploying and operating them in a modern cloud environment (e.g., AWS)
• You ensure that your solutions are robust, observable, and easy to operate in production environments
• You demonstrate mastery of modern development toolchains, including AI-powered tools that enhance productivity, automation, and code quality

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You have solid experience developing backend services in Go, with a strong understanding of REST and gRPC APIs
• Architecture You are familiar with event-driven architectures and have hands-on experience with Kafka and microservices in production environments
• Data Stores You have worked with data stores like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch, and understand how to choose the right storage for the problem
• Agility You thrive in agile teams, continuously seek to improve processes and systems, and are passionate about learning and sharing knowledge
• Curiosity You are open-minded and collaborative, willing to occasionally support frontend development and work across the stack when needed
