What You'll Do

Take end-to-end responsibility for the design, development, testing, and quality of your deliverables.

Develop maintainable code optimised for performance and scalability, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Write well-tested code with appropriate test coverage and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.

Ensure applications perform securely, efficiently, and consistently across modern browsers and devices.

Work as part of a cross-functional Agile team, participating in planning, design, development, and release activities to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Partner closely with design teams to understand user needs, define user stories/use cases, and translate them into effective front-end solutions.

Contribute expertise in user experience and interface design, advocating for intuitive, user-friendly solutions.

Provide constructive feedback on technical designs and implementation plans from peers.

Identify areas for improvement in the product and development process and proactively suggest and implement solutions.

Participate in technical brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our products and technology stack.

The Ideal Candidate will Have:

Technical Skills:

Solid experience designing and building modular, maintainable, and well-abstracted front-end applications using JavaScript and TypeScript

Practical experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

Strong understanding of core web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and the DOM

Familiarity with current trends and emerging best practices in front-end development (e.g. component architecture, performance optimisation, accessibility)

Good grasp of usability principles and user-centred design

Working knowledge of application security fundamentals and secure front-end development practices

Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams

Experience writing unit and integration tests, and applying best practices in software quality and continuous delivery

Ability to design and implement resilient, scalable systems with maintainable front-end codebases

Experience incorporating AI-powered tools into development workflows (e.g. for code generation, testing, accessibility checks, or design automation)

Required Experience:

3+ years hands-on software development experience

Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in an appropriate field (Engineering, Computer Science, Science)

Experience working in international/multi-site environments

Experience working in an agile environment

Experience working in early-stage technology companies

Experience working in a regulated industry an advantage

Experience managing or leading technical teams an advantage

Location and Travel:  
(Dublin) 

Hybrid role - Dublin City Centre, Ireland.

Our Dublin City Centre offices are located less than 3 mins for Pearse St Dart Station and beside the Alex Hotel, making it accessible for all major transport.  

We also offer flexible start/ end times, allowing your schedule to suit your lifestyle
