Job Summary

As a Mid Analytics Engineer (20265), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the migration of data platforms from Snowflake on AWS to Azure Databricks and DBT

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and analytics models using Databricks and DBT

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to support scalable cloud data environments

• Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows, ensuring reliable data integration, performance, and documentation of processes

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles

• Hands-on experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and DBT

• Strong experience building and managing infrastructure using Terraform

• Experience supporting cloud-to-cloud data migration projects and data platform modernization initiatives

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL or ELT processes

• Experience working with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control systems

• Familiarity with data governance practices including data cataloging, lineage, monitoring, and data quality checks

• Understanding of data lakehouse architecture and modern cloud data platform design

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in collaborative environments
