Role Purpose

As a Modern Work, Security & Compliance Consultant, you will act as a strategic business enabler and solution validator. Your mission is to empower organizations to achieve secure, compliant, and productive hybrid work by architecting, validating, and advocating Microsoft solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Enablement & Strategic Advisory:
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
• Translate business needs into secure, compliant, and scalable Microsoft solution architectures (Microsoft 365, Teams, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview).
• Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, change management, and adoption frameworks to maximise business impact.

• Solution Validation & Feasibility:
• Rigorously test and validate proposed solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives before handover to project engineers.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, robust, and deliverable—preventing “over-promising” and under-delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during pre-sales and solution validation phases.

• Compliance & Security Leadership:
• Implement Microsoft Purview for compliance, data governance, and information protection.
• Advise on regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PDPA) and ensure solutions meet compliance requirements.
• Deliver security and compliance workshops, empowering client teams with best practices.

• Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
• Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging AI (Copilot), automation, and advanced security frameworks to future-proof client solutions.
• Advocate for client needs, providing feedback to internal teams and influencing product enhancements.

• Change Management & Adoption:
• Drive adoption and change management for Modern Work technologies, ensuring solutions deliver sustained business outcomes.
• Deliver training and consultations to maximize user engagement and business value.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with a strong technical and consulting foundation.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise presales, solution consulting, or technical project leadership.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft 365 suite, security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID), and compliance solutions (Purview).
• Solid understanding of cloud security (Zero Trust, identity management, threat protection) and compliance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of business process optimization, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
• Proficiency in Windows systems, PowerShell, and automation.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with creative thinking and efficient issue resolution.
• Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, building trust and long-term partnerships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin or another language is a plus).
• Highly adaptable, thriving in dynamic environments with evolving client needs.
• (Nice to Have) Experience with AI technologies such as Copilot, Large Language Models (LLM), and automation.
