The role focuses on troubleshooting issues, assisting end users, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring smooth execution of production and inventory processes across manufacturing workflows and integrated order management tools (including SalesPad).
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Issue Resolution
Provide daily functional support for Dynamics GP Manufacturing modules, including MRP, BOMs, Manufacturing Orders, and Production Scheduling.
Troubleshoot user issues related to manufacturing transactions, item setup, inventory discrepancies, units of measure, and costing-related concerns.
Investigate and resolve problems involving Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and their integration to manufacturing and inventory processes.
Support lot-tracked and serialized items by ensuring accurate usage, tracking, and reporting outcomes.
Manufacturing, Inventory & Planning Operations Support
Support MRP processes by helping users interpret planning outputs, resolve exceptions, and correct master data issues that drive planning accuracy.
Assist with Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing assemblies, and production order processing, ensuring transactions flow correctly and consistently.
Provide support for both Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) workflows, guiding users on proper end-to-end procedures.
Help maintain accurate inventory through troubleshooting, adjustments, and user guidance to reduce recurring discrepancies.
SalesPad Support & Configuration (Order-to-Cash Enablement)
Support SalesPad users by resolving workflow issues, data errors, and order management challenges.
Configure and/or optimize SalesPad settings that impact order entry, fulfillment, and integration to Dynamics GP (e.g., process flows, validation rules, documents, user permissions, and operational controls).
Provide operational support in environments where sales activity begins in SalesPad and flows into Dynamics GP.
Cross-Functional Process Support (Purchasing, Inventory, Production)
Support purchasing and replenishment workflows where purchase orders are generated and managed within Dynamics GP, including scenarios that use advisory/replenishment processes.
Support assembly/manufacturing-related monitoring and inventory tracking processes used alongside SalesPad assembly tooling where applicable.
Collaborate with customer stakeholders (operations, production, purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams) to triage issues, restore operations, and reduce repeat incidents.
Training, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Provide end-user guidance, light training, and job aids to improve adoption and ensure consistent transaction discipline.
Document solutions, root causes, and repeatable support playbooks to improve resolution times and service quality.
Identify process or setup gaps and recommend practical improvements that stabilize manufacturing execution and inventory accuracy.
Candidates must show experience with:
MRP (Materials Resource Planning)
BOMs (Bills of Materials)

Freight & Landed Cost (receiving, allocation concepts, inventory valuation impacts)
Capacity Planning (work centers/resources, constraints, and schedule feasibility concepts)
Configuration of SalesPad (order processing workflows and GP integration impacts)
Technical / Professional Competencies
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause and data integrity.
Ability to translate manufacturing operations into system actions, controls, and support guidance.
Clear communicator capable of working directly with end users and operational leaders to triage and resolve issues.

You Bring:
