RST Software is a Polish technology company that supports clients in the technological transformation of their products. For one of their clients from the EdTech sector (Benelux countries), we are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer.

The system is designed to create a comprehensive ecosystem of functionalities, ensuring uninterrupted access to key and relevant information at any time. Through continuous improvements, the company regularly enhances its solutions with intelligent tools and user-friendly interfaces. The organization is committed to full process automation.
About the role:
🎯 Role: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Engineer
đź’° Form of cooperation: B2B
👩‍💻 Working mode: remote
⏱️ Working hours: flexible (typically between 8:00 and 18:00)
What you will take care of:
• Own and maintain on-prem environments (BC14, BC22, KV10)
• Keep the platform aligned with Microsoft releases (currently several versions behind)
• Drive upgrades from C/AL to AL and from on-prem toward cloud-compatible solutions
• Support and execute weekly KV8 → KV10 migrations (test and production)
• Reduce single-person dependency in upgrades and migrations
• Advise on and implement best practices for new Business Central features
• Maintain and improve a multitenant on-prem architecture
• Upgrade legacy integrations: Basic Auth & NTLM to OAuth
• Ensure compatibility with: Business Central Finance, Sales & Purchase invoicing, SOAP web services, OCR invoice scanning, and other integrations
• Transition .NET usage to cloud-compatible compilation
• Identify technical risks and proactively propose solutions
What we expect from you :
• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Practical knowledge of AL and C/AL
• Hands-on experience with BC upgrades and migrations
• Understanding of on-prem multitenant BC environments
• Experience with complex extensions and dependencies
• Solid knowledge of OAuth in enterprise setups
• Comfort working with legacy systems under pressure
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
