Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect (Digital Workplace & Automation)

About the Role

This role is responsible for designing and optimising our Microsoft 365 ecosystem as the operational backbone of the company. You will help transform us into a fully digital, Automated and AI-enabled workspace by building structured systems across Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform.

This is not IT support. This is architecture and systems thinking — designing how information flows, how automation works, how templates are developed, how agents are deployed, and how teams collaborate efficiently within a connected Microsoft environment.

What You’ll Do

Architect and optimise our Microsoft 365 environment across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Loop, Planner, and Power BI

Design and help team best utilise and layout tools to optimum productivity like Loop,  Planner, Teams etc. 

Design structured SharePoint architectures for projects, knowledge, templates, and data governance

Build automations using Power Automate, Copilot etc and related tools to reduce manual processes

Create and deploy Copilot Studio agents to support document search, reporting, knowledge queries, and workflow execution

Develop dashboards and reporting systems using Power BI and other tools connected to live data sources

Design templates, metadata structures, and digital standards

Advise on licensing structures, governance, permissions, and scalability

Identify inefficiencies and redesign workflows for speed, clarity, and automation

Help leadership understand how to best use the Microsoft ecosystem strategically

What Skills You Should Have

Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and ecosystem integration

Strong SharePoint design and governance experience

Experience building workflows in Power Automate

Experience creating Copilot Studio agents or similar AI-driven tools

Strong Power BI dashboard development capability

Clear understanding of Microsoft licensing, permissions, and tenant structure

Systems thinker who can design scalable digital environments

Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical teams

Proactive and comfortable working directly with leadership

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions in a business environment

Proven experience designing end-to-end digital workplace systems

Experience working in SMEs, design/construction firms, or fast-growing businesses preferred

Experience integrating AI tools within Microsoft environments is a strong advantage
