Microsoft 365 Consultant

As a Microsoft Consultant, you will design and deliver Microsoft cloud solutions with a delivery-first focus, centered on Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune. You will work directly with customer stakeholders to translate requirements into implementation plans, execute deployments, and provide documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable operations.

You’ll also support post-go-live stabilization (hypercare), troubleshooting, and optimization.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Microsoft cloud projects (end-to-end) across assessment, design, implementation, migration (project-dependent), and handover.
• Run technical workshops: discovery, requirements, solution walkthroughs, and adoption readiness.
• Produce customer-ready deliverables: HLD/LLD, runbooks, implementation guides, operational handover packs.
• Troubleshoot complex identity + endpoint issues and deliver root-cause fixes (enrollment failures, access blocks, policy conflicts).
• Provide post-go-live support (hypercare): stabilization, tuning, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.

Core Solution Areas (Primary)

Microsoft Entra (Identity & Access)

• Conditional Access, MFA, passwordless
• Named Locations, access controls aligned to risk profiles
• SSO integrations and application onboarding (SAML/OIDC)

Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Management)

• MAM/MDM, app deployment, compliance & configuration policies
• Endpoint Security, device baselines, operational reporting
• Co-management considerations (where applicable)

Project-Dependent / Supporting Areas

• Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) governance/hardening support
• Tenant-to-tenant migrations (Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams) and endpoint profile migration planning
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint onboarding, baseline hardening, alert tuning
• Microsoft Purview (Sensitivity Labels, DLP, Information Lifecycle Management, Insider Risk—where applicable)
• Tenant security assessments (Secure Score / Conditional Access / endpoint posture)

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years delivering Microsoft cloud solutions in consulting, systems integrator, MSP, or enterprise IT roles.
• Strong experience in Entra ID, Intune and other Microsoft Solutions implementations and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable in customer-facing environments: workshops, stakeholder management, technical presentations.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset across identity/device/policy interactions.
• Ability to write clear documentation and explain trade-offs (security vs usability, governance vs agility).
• Experience using PowerShell for deployment and troubleshooting where needed.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Microsoft certifications (any): SC-300, MD-102, MS-102, etc.
• Azure experience (foundational): RBAC, basic networking concepts, logging/monitoring exposure, integrations.
• Experience with hybrid identity environments and migration readiness considerations.
• Exposure to tooling ecosystems (e.g., Patch My PC, migration utilities) is a plus.
