Job Role:
• The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert to provide technical guidance to lab staff, clientele and sales/business development personnel.
• This role will be for those with prior lab experience and a desire to enhance their career outside of a supervisor position.
• The candidate will be expected to work independently with limited supervision.
Other responsibilities include:

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Oversight of technical projects including method development, validations, verifications and transfers.
• Technical writing including, but not limited to, authoring protocol and summary reports.
• Troubleshooting methods; conducting investigations into non-conformances, deviations, OOS and CAPAs.
• Ensuring compliance with CFR, FDA, DEA, and GMP regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Microbiology or related scientific discipline with 5+ years of experience in a cGMP regulated environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Microbiology principles with extensive experience in 3 or more of the following areas:
• Technical Writing
• Sterility (Clean room or isolator)
• Bacterial Endotoxin Testing
• Microbial Limit Testing
• Antibiotic Assays
• Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing
• Cell Culture
• Experience meeting aggressive timelines.
• Strong computer experience using professional tools such as Excel and Word.
