Here at Zola we are seeking an exceptional Merchandising Intern to join our 2026 Summer Intern class! The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with an interest in e-commerce as well as a strong desire to gain the technical and practical knowledge required to launch a career in merchandising or buying. This person will work closely with all members of the Merchandising Team with a focus on Registry, and have exposure to all facets of the company including cross-functional partners in Planning, Operations, Marketing, and Design.
This is an exciting internship for someone eager to have a meaningful impact on an innovative, fast-growing company in the online wedding and baby registry industry. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and proven time management skills are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct competitive analysis on wedding and baby trends and share findings with the team
• Manage online product content for Zola Registry, including product descriptions, copy, and pricing
• Pull reporting for sales, order tracking and other analyses
• Support the Merchandising Team, performing supportive ad hoc projects and tasks as necessary
• Support the department's visual merchandising on the site
QUALIFICATIONS
• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree (rising Junior or Senior)
• Must be able to problem solve, make decisions, think critically, and analytically
• Have an intellectual curiosity and eagerness to grow professionally
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing priorities
• Able to establish relationships with internal and external partners
• Entry Level/Prior work experience and e-commerce knowledge preferable but not required
PROGRAM DETAILS
• The compensation for this role is $20.00/hour.
• This full-time role will be hybrid at our office in NYC (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
• This role is not eligible for relocation.
• The program will run for 10 weeks from June 9, 2026 - August 13, 2026.
