Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Merchandising & Field Sales Representative to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (e.g. Mississauga, Etobicoke, Toronto, North York). Reporting to the Grocery Manager, this role offers hands-on experience in merchandising, field sales support, and brand promotion within grocery and retail environments. The role will work closely with Sales to optimize product placement, in-store displays, and promotional campaigns, while supporting marketing initiatives and contributing to the overall growth of our premium portfolio.
This role combines in-store merchandising execution with field sales support and retail account engagement, contributing to product visibility, distribution, and sell-through. It includes sales-related activities in-market alongside merchandising execution, focused on supporting the growth and performance of assigned retail accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales teams to plan and execute in-store product placements, promotional displays, and seasonal campaigns.
Service CHG products at various grocery and retail accounts to ensure optimal visibility, inventory rotation, and brand representation.
Analyze sales and merchandising data to provide actionable insights for improving product performance and retail execution.
Coordinate logistics for promotional materials, product samples, and in-store displays.
Support new product launches, marketing activations, and cross-functional initiatives.
Train or support store staff and partners on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and promotional execution.
Represent CHG and our premium portfolio at events, tastings, and retail activations as required.
Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities, reporting regularly to the Grocery Manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail merchandising, sales support, or marketing is preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Analytical mindset; comfortable interpreting sales or market data to drive recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
Knowledge of merchandising principles, visual displays, and brand activation strategies.
Must be of legal drinking age in Ontario (19+) and hold a valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access.
Comfortable lifting 40+ lbs and working in a field-based environment.
Compensation
This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary, car allowance, and reimbursement for business-related expenses.
