Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Program Administrator to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Sacramento, CA. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities
Maintain a positive therapeutic environment.
Responsible for the direct supervision of clinical and support staff.
Managing the facility’s day-to-day operations while ensuring that it is safe, clean, and well maintained.
Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure facility meets all state and federal licensing and regulation requirements.
Supervising clients, implementing treatment plans.
Ensuring clients’ daily needs and safety are met.
Collaborate with clinical staff to create and maintain a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Build strong relationships with clients and guardians, providing updates and organizing meetings or orientations.
Oversee the admission process and ensure proper staffing ratios and accurate records.
Has on call responsibilities.
May have a limited caseload as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in health or human services field required
Group Home Program Administrator certification in good standing required.
Current Livescan.
Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
