Mental Health Advisor/Mentor

The Liberty Centre's Clubhouse provides mental health services to adults recovering from mental illness and/or substance use disorder. By utilizing the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehab, LCS provides real opportunities to assist members in developing critical skills needed to reclaim or establish their independence in the community. Staff and members work side by side to complete Clubhouse tasks, participate in social activities, and support employment opportunities. Collaboratively, staff and members plan/prepare daily meals, complete a wide array of financial/accounting tasks, create marketing and media materials, and support each other in all other daily tasks, planning, and ideas of the Clubhouse. The Liberty Centre Clubhouse is the only Clubhouse in Nebraska accredited by Clubhouse International.
We are looking for a collaborative, member-focused staff to work alongside Clubhouse members in our culinary unit and support the daily operation of our meal program. This role partners directly with members to plan, prepare, and serve meals while ensuring full compliance with CACFP guidelines for preparation, service, documentation, and billing. Responsibilities include shared grocery shopping, ordering supplies, menu planning, and maintaining accurate records for meals, and monthly reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of high school diploma and demonstrated skills and competencies in the treatment of individuals with mental health disorders. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related human service or health care field is preferred or two years’ experience in direct service is preferred.
