About the role

As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will support legacy application migration to Mendix, deliver application enhancements, and provide BAU production support in an enterprise environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate legacy applications to the Mendix low-code platform
• Design and develop Mendix applications using domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and UI pages
• Implement application enhancements and minor change requests
• Provide L2/L3 BAU and production support
• Develop and support REST and SOAP integrations
• Ensure application security, performance, and stability

Experience required

• Strong experience in enterprise application development
• Hands-on experience with Mendix development in real-world projects
• Experience working on legacy application modernization or migration initiatives
• Experience supporting production systems in BAU environments
• Experience with system integrations and APIs

Skills required

• Strong expertise in Mendix (Domain Models, Microflows, Pages)
• Good knowledge of Java, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations
• Understanding of application security and performance best practices
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Mendix Certification
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Exposure to Mendix Cloud or on-premises deployments
