About The Role:

We’re expanding our Creative team and looking for a Performance Media Content Designer to help scale high-impact digital content across social performance-driven channels. This role will focus on creating, iterating, and optimizing creative for paid and organic media on channels such as TikTok, Meta, Google/YouTube, and other emerging media channels. This role focuses primarily on video and motion media however they will need to be able to make layout and resize static creative as well. The ideal candidate understands how creative drives performance and is excited to build content that both upholds melin’s premium standard and is strategically informed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Brief, execute post-production, and optimize performance-focused creative across video and static formats.

Own post-production workflows, including editing, variation testing, and creative optimization

Collaborate with the creative content team on planning, ideation, and testing strategies

Partner closely with ECOM and Marketing teams to incorporate performance insights into

creative decisions

Iterate on creative concepts based on channel performance, trends, and learnings

Support campaign execution alongside the in-house studio content creator and Social team

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

3+ years of experience in post-production editing, preferably in an in house creative or brand marketing environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Motion Design or a related discipline preferred.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects for video post production and editing.

Experience with Figma for digital layout and file exports.

Proficiency with file preparation for digital best practices of social safety zones and file sizes.

Clear attention to detail, ensuring all content aligns with brand aesthetic and creative direction.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Highly productive self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to and working with senior leadership.

Passion for premium products, brand building, and the Melin brand

Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in San Clemente, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $70,304 to $80,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
