What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to project tasks and milestones, organizing work to meet deadlines.
• Support the shared services site team and direct reports, ensuring effective communication with internal and external business professionals.
• Adhere to compliance and controls, supporting Corporate Audit and capturing necessary information for review.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and market approvers to manage exceptions and approvals.
• Review healthcare contract standards for external professionals, ensuring customer needs and relationships are proactively fulfilled and enhanced.
• Perform period-end financial close activities, meeting all related deadlines.
• Develop financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data to meet management requests.
• Identify key groups or positions for regular interaction and assist in the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Pfizer.
• Learn and apply basic team effectiveness skills within the immediate Work Team.
• Make decisions within limited options to resolve basic problems, with limited decision-making authority, working under the supervisor's direction.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with any years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English speaking and writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

• Pharmaceutical industry or contracts experience
• System application & products / Oracle experience
• Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
