Position Title: MedTech Supply Chain Digital Director, PMO and Project Management
Location: New Jersey preferred, open to other US locations with ability to travel as needed
Position Summary
The Director, PMO and Project Management leads a cross functional project management team responsible for delivering large scale MedTech supply chain transformation programs. This is a hands on execution leadership role focused on driving outcomes, removing blockers, resolving escalations, and ensuring programs stay on track.
This role operates at both the strategic and execution level, defining how work gets done, enforcing accountability, and stepping in decisively when delivery is at risk. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership presence, high tolerance for ambiguity, and a bias toward action and results.
Core Responsibilities
Drive Delivery and Remove Blockers
Serve as the primary escalation point for program delivery. Identify issues, resolve blockers, and drive decisions quickly to maintain momentum across workstreams.
Anticipate Risk and Drive Corrective Action
Proactively identify risks, challenge assumptions, and intervene early to prevent delays or missed milestones.
Lead Project Planning and Execution Standards
Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Establish and enforce consistent PMO standards and execution playbooks across multiple initiatives.
Manage Resource Strategy and Deployment
Own resource planning across the program. Identify gaps, resolve conflicts, and ensure teams are properly staffed and aligned to priorities.
Establish Governance and Reporting Structures
Design governance frameworks, tools, and processes that support execution and enable fast, effective decision making.
Deliver Measurable Business Value
Ensure programs deliver against defined business outcomes, not just activity milestones. Track value realization and intervene when performance is at risk.
Build and Lead High Performing Teams
Recruit, mentor, and develop project management talent. Foster accountability, ownership, and strong team performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, supply chain, or large scale transformation programs
Minimum 5 years leading complex global programs with accountability for delivery outcomes
Minimum 3 years of people management experience
Proven ability to drive execution in complex, cross functional environments
Strong problem solving skills with a bias toward action and resolution
Experience building PMO standards, governance frameworks, and execution processes
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio
Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in MedTech, supply chain, or commercial operations
Familiarity with ERP systems and digital supply chain ecosystems
PMP or Agile certification preferred
Experience with AI enabled transformation or automation initiatives
Ability to translate business needs into practical technology or process solutions

Additional Information
Travel up to 25 percent may be required
