A medior-level .NET and Python developer is required to support ongoing application development and integration initiatives within a major European energy-sector organization. The consultant will work within existing teams to build and maintain high‑quality solutions, following internal development standards and ensuring robust, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain backend and full‑stack components using .NET 8 and Python.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server and MongoDB.
• Implement and maintain asynchronous communication using RabbitMQ.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to internal development standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and operational teams.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and participate in team ceremonies.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Experience using RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication skills.
• Accountability and ownership of deliverables.
Languages
Candidates must be fluent in English and possess one of the following language combinations:
• Fluent French with passive understanding of Flemish, or
• Fluent Flemish with passive understanding of French.
Additional Information
• Work location: Brussels (with up to 3 days/week remote work, depending on activity).
• Costs for occasional travel to Germany will be covered.
