Onze klant is een gevestigde Belgische organisatie die gespecialiseerd is in HR-diensten, payrolloplossingen en sociale administratie voor bedrijven en werknemers. Ze zijn momenteel op zoek naar een Medior IT Quality Tester om hun Agile development team in Gent te versterken.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor functionele en technische testing van softwareproducten, webapplicaties en microservices, waarbij je zorgt voor een hoge kwaliteit en een optimale gebruikerservaring. Je werkt nauw samen met developers, analisten en de Scrum Master om betrouwbare en performante applicaties op te leveren.

Het team werkt in een Agile omgeving met een sterke focus op continue verbetering en het leveren van hoogwaardige digitale oplossingen die door duizenden organisaties worden gebruikt.

Requirements:
Verantwoordelijkheden

Manueel testen

• Testcases opstellen op basis van user stories
• Testcases uitvoeren en functionaliteit valideren
• De continuïteit en stabiliteit van applicaties bewaken
• Geïdentificeerde issues rapporteren en opvolgen
• Testdata voorbereiden en beheren
• Issues die via andere bronnen worden gemeld filteren en valideren
• Bijdragen aan een zo goed mogelijke gebruikerservaring

Geautomatiseerd testen

• Geautomatiseerde testcases ontwikkelen voor nieuwe applicaties en microservices
• Bestaande geautomatiseerde tests updaten wanneer applicaties veranderen
• Cypress-tests en Newman/Postman-tests implementeren binnen CI/CD-pipelines

Technische omgeving

Je zal werken met technologieën zoals:

• Cypress
• Selenium
• Cucumber
• Java
• Postman / Newman
• Jira
• LambdaTest
• SQL-databases
• SharePoint
• Office 365

Vereiste vaardigheden

• Ervaring met manueel testen
• Kennis van testautomatiseringstools (Cypress, Selenium)
• Ervaring met API testing (Postman / Newman)
• Ervaring met werken in een Agile omgeving
• Inzicht in microservices-architectuur
• Vermogen om testplannen en testcases op te stellen

Nice to have

• ISTQB-certificering
• Kennis van DB2 of Oracle
• Ervaring met Excel of VBA
• Basiskennis van Java of SQL

• Nederlands: vloeiend / moedertaal (vereist)
