As a VMS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex Video Management Systems (VMS) and integrated security solutions. You will work closely with engineering, pre-sales, project management, and service teams to ensure high-quality technical delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, configure, install, and maintain VMS and integrated electronic security solutions

* Support pre-sales teams with technical expertise and solution design

* Create detailed low-level technical designs and documentation

* Troubleshoot incidents and ensure fast resolution while respecting SLA commitments

* Collaborate with project managers, service desk teams, and engineers on customer projects

* Ensure cybersecurity and Securitas policies are respected within all solutions

* Participate in on-call/support activities when required

* Identify operational improvements and contribute to process optimization

* Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing to colleagues and customers

* Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and time registration

 

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or IT-related field, or equivalent through experience

* Strong experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) and electronic security solutions

* Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles

* Experience with security technologies such as CCTV, access control, and integrations

* Knowledge of ITIL and IT service environments is considered a plus

* VCA certification or willingness to obtain it

* Fluent in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of English

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Customer-oriented, proactive, and autonomous mindset

* Team player with excellent communication skills
