Position Summary: Our busy orthopedics office is recruiting for a part time medical scribe at the American Fork office.

Essential Job Functions:

 Begin patient notes prior to their office visit.

Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary technology. '

Maintain patient records and other information as requested by the physician.

Record office visits via electronic templates on behalf of the physician. 

Responsible for ensuring thoroughness of medical documentation.

Provide courteous and friendly service to all patients and contribute to a positive work environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Pre-med student is preferred. 

Strong interpersonal, communication, prioritization and organizational skills.

Self-starter willing to work as a team member. 

Able to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. 

Proficient on computers. Able to type 60+ wpm.

Working knowledge of electronic medical records and terminology.
