Our client is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies based in Lagos with strong ethical and OTC brands that are market leaders in different therapy areas. In a strategic drive designed to strengthen her competitive edge in the market the company urgently requires the service of self motivated and result oriented medical/sales representatives who will interface effectively with the healthcare professionals and the downstream trade channels in the territories assigned to them. Their essential job accountabilities will include’inter alia’ securing the endorsement of the company brands by the healthcare professional and driving for optimum visibility in the retail channels.
The successful candidates will report to the Area sales manager in the sales territories to which they will be deployed and will be based in Lagos, Ilorin, Ibadan, Ekiti and Abakaliki. They will manage the company’s ethical brands
A good bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, industrial chemistry or botany.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a med.rep in a reputable pharmaceutical company.
Evident self-confidence good communication and interpersonal skills.
Track record of achievement in previous employments.
Good knowledge of the market in the territory of choice and palpable ‘can do’ outlook.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and work ‘smart’ towards the achievement of set objectives.
