Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients upon arrival

Register new patients, update demographics for existing patients

Maintains patient database by entering new and updated patient and account information

Maintains operations by following policies and procedures for each study, following amendments as needed

Verifies entered patient data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data as needed

Performs data entry functions with a minimum error rate, as determined by study protocols

Perform routine administrative tasks to support medical staff

Answers phones and scheduling patients for various studies

Professional communication with office staff and healthcare professionals via email and phone

Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

​Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in medical office or healthcare administration

Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures

Strong organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills/Experience:

Able to use computer systems

Polished customer service skills and a real ability to understand our patients’ needs

The ability to handle and seek to resolve patient complaints if they arise, with tact and positive outcomes

Must be reliable and punctual in attendance
