Overview
We are seeking a Medical Physicist to join a high-performing radiation oncology program in Richmond, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced treatment technologies in a collaborative clinical environment focused on precision, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities
• Ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments
• Perform calibration, quality assurance, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment
• Support treatment planning and dose calculations in collaboration with radiation oncologists
• Conduct routine and specialized QA procedures for linear accelerators and associated systems
• Participate in commissioning of new equipment and implementation of advanced technologies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and radiation safety protocols
• Provide technical guidance and support to clinical staff
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Required
• Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology (or completion of residency)
Preferred
• Board certification or board eligibility (ABR or equivalent)
• Experience with advanced radiation therapy techniques and technologies
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance standards
