We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Language Editors (MLEs) to join our growing team on a subcontractor basis. If you have a strong background in medical transcription or documentation and a keen eye for accuracy, this is a great opportunity to work remotely with a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and proofread medical documents for grammar, punctuation, and British English terminology
Ensure accuracy of medical terms, diagnoses, procedures, and medications (minimum 98.5% accuracy)
Review documents for clarity, completeness, and consistency before submission
Meet productivity targets and turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards
Adhere to strict data privacy and confidentiality requirements
Clarify unclear dictations and resolve discrepancies through effective communication
Conduct research to verify medical terminology and abbreviations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous training
Collaborate with team members, auditors, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
Graduate of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, or Communication Arts
At least 2 years’ experience in medical transcription, editing, QA, or related field
Excellent command of written and spoken English (British English preferred)
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
Tech-savvy and familiar with Microsoft applications and cloud-based tools
Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
BIR-registered with the ability to issue official receipts is an advantage
Technical Requirements
Computer with at least i3 processor (or equivalent) and 8GB RAM
Reliable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps)
Noise-cancelling headset and webcam

Monday to Friday
Shifts available:
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Philippine time)
Minimum of 40 hours per week
