Job Description

Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist – Spring Hill, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shifts: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating weekends, on-call rotation required)

Compensation: $27.09 – $37.92/hr (based on experience)

Differentials: +$2.50/hr (Nights) | +$2/hr (On-Call)

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for Night Shift

Relocation: Case by case

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Spring Hill, FL. This role supports patient care by providing accurate and efficient laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, and blood banking. Join a collaborative team with opportunities for professional growth and strong incentives.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical testing using independent judgment to ensure reliable results.

• Handle stat and routine specimens, prioritizing workflow appropriately.

• Maintain laboratory instruments, reagents, and supply inventories.

• Ensure compliance with all quality control and regulatory requirements.

• Step in for supervisory duties when assigned.

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology required; Bachelor’s preferred.

• Florida Technologist license (or ability to obtain).

• At least 3 years of recent Medical Technologist or MLS experience.
