With state-of-the-art equipment, Awanui Labs Northland (previously known as Northland Pathology Laboratory Limited) provides high-quality diagnostic pathology services to the Te Tai Tokerau / Northland community.
About the role | Mō te tūranga:
Full-time permanent role, minimum 40 hours per week based in our Whangarei laboratory.
As an integral member of the team of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Scientists, you will participate in the daily operations of the Core Laboratory, performing routine Haematology and Biochemistry/immunoassay analysis
You will need to participate in rostered shifts from 8 am - 7.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential after-hour support as required
Organise and prioritise workflow efficiently to meet the company's and client's requirements effectively.
Support administration of the Quality Management System as required.
Pay range for this role is: $33.15 to $43.21 per hour

Requirements:
Registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist MSCNZ preferably with a specialization in biochemistry. Full or provisional registration is acceptable.
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a medical laboratory scientist in New Zealand or overseas equivalent.
Proven ability to work well with a diverse team.
Demonstrated technical expertise and a thorough understanding of laboratory protocols and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration and rapport with team members and stakeholders.
Working knowledge of ISO15189
