Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine to lead their substance use treatment program in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program
• Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards
• Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment
• Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources
• Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population

Requirements:
Qualifications
• Education: MD or DO with completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship
• Licensure: Active New York State Medical License
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine; leadership experience preferred
• Requirements: Active Medicaid provider number; Active DEA certification
• Language: Spanish proficiency preferred
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development
• Soft Skills: Leadership, cultural competence, empathy, strong communication, collaborative approach
