Awanui Labs is part of the Awanui Group the largest network of human and veterinary pathology laboratories throughout New Zealand.

Awanui Labs Wellington Central provides services to public and private hospitals, General Practitioners, Medical Specialists and the public.

About the role | Mō te tūranga:
Our Logistics department is looking for a reliable and dedicated driver to join our casual pool of drivers who provide back up and support to the core courier team. This team is a team dedicated to high levels of service and ensuring that patient specimens and diagnostics are delivered within strict timeframes.

As a medical courier you will pick up specimens from around Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti Coast and Hutt Valley and deliver them to our laboratories. You will also deliver stores to our collection centres and Medical Practices.

This is a public facing role so to be successful you will have excellent customer service skills, be warm and friendly with a willing attitude and commitment to service delivery.

About you | He kōrero mōu
To be successful in this role you need to have:

A full NZ class 1 licence

A clean criminal and driving record

Good knowledge of the Wellington region
