Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Medical Courier to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle sensitive medical materials with care and professionalism. As a Medical Courier, you will be responsible for safely transporting medical supplies and equipment between healthcare facilities and Alliance Medical warehouses while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and delivery schedules. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the company-owned box truck to transport Arthrex sets and bins across designated routes.

Load and unload medical supplies and equipment efficiently using dollies when necessary.

Ensure proper handling of sensitive materials, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations related to medical transport.

Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for compliance purposes.

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with healthcare staff and facility personnel during deliveries.

Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing fuel consumption and vehicle wear.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Assist in warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and stock organization.

Follow all traffic laws and driving regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.

Demonstrate physical strength by performing heavy lifting and moving tasks as required for loading or unloading supplies.

Experience

Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.

Warehouse experience involving loading/unloading, inventory management, or equipment handling is highly desirable.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in fast-paced environments.
