Medical Billing and Appeals Specialist

We are looking for a Medical Billing & Appeals Specialist to assist with appeals submission for denied claims and support day-to-day billing operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational billing knowledge who is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting appeals for denied medical claims
• Review EOBs and error codes to understand claim denials
• Support accurate use of CPT and ICD codes under guidance
• Assist with claims processing related to workers’ compensation carriers
• Help with other billing and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:
• Basic understanding of medical billing and appeals processes
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD codes
• Ability to review EOBs and denial/error codes
• Good written communication and typing skills
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Preferred:

• Exposure to Pain Management or Imaging specialties
• Prior experience in medical billing or revenue cycle roles
