Medical Biller Specialist

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team as a Medical Billing & Insurance Coordinator. In this role, you’ll manage the full billing cycle from patient intake to claim submission, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and correcting coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS standards
• Posting payments and adjustments, and reconciling patient accounts
• Resolving claim denials and managing appeals with insurance payers
• Communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and insurers regarding billing issues
• Handle order intake and verify insurance eligibility
• Enter patient and insurance information into the billing system
• Make insurance verification calls and follow-ups
• Conduct research and resolve claim issues via phone
• Submit accurate and timely billing claims

Requirements:
• Experience in medical billing, insurance coordination, or revenue cycle
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of prior auth processes and insurance platforms
• Experience submitting and following up on insurance claims
• Experience posting payments, adjustments, and reconciling patient accounts
• Experience resolving claim denials and managing appeals
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. at least at a level of C1 Advanced
