As a Medical Assistant, you will be required to do prior authorizations, provide Spravato treatment and administer injectables under supervision. As a TMS technician, you will be required to operate the TMS machine after training. Dexterity (the ability to use your hands skillfully in performing tasks) is a requirement for this role.
*** Training for Spravato and TMS will be provided at our head office located at 2411 NE Loop 410, Suite 114, San Antonio, TX 78217. Training is scheduled for 1 month but may last up to 2 months depending on the learning ability of the medical assistant.
Other Responsibilities:
Organize and schedule patient appointments
Document and update medical records and insurance reports
Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills:
Dexterity - You have to be good at using your hands skillfully while operating medical equipment.
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
