Schedule: Full-time; Mon-Thurs 7-5 PM
Pay: $18.80-$19.58/hr DOE

We’re seeking a Medical Assistant who enjoys working closely with a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support patient stability, comfort, and continuity of care. 💉 What You’ll Do:
Support compassionate, efficient health care by:
Welcoming patients, assisting with check‑in, and helping create a calm, supportive environment.
Preparing for appointments through chart scrubbing, updating records, and reviewing medications.
Rooming patients, taking vital signs, completing mental‑health screenings, and entering accurate EMR documentation.
Assisting the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner during visits as needed.
Managing inbox tasks such as processing referrals, sending normal test results, and forwarding refill requests.
Conducting follow‑up calls, outreach, and care‑plan support alongside the clinical team.
Ensuring rooms are stocked, clean, and organized; maintaining supplies and equipment.
Helping patients complete necessary forms and coordinating with outside agencies when appropriate.
Contributing to a positive, patient‑centered, mission‑driven clinic culture every day.

Ethical conduct, confidentiality, and discretion
✅ Requirements:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS Certification (or obtained upon hire)
Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
CNA License
National Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA)
Phlebotomy experience
Two (2) years experience in community health or a physician’s office
